The resin is wild harvested from trees in Nigeria but it is also found growing in Senegal and Burkina Faso. The process consists of grinding the resin down into a fine powder and then mixing in the Jojoba oil. We then place it in a water bath on low heat for a few hours until the majority of the resin is dissolved. It is then left for a few weeks and then strained. Frankincense Dalzielii is a lesser-known Frankincense but has grown recently in popularity due to having been found to contain the highest amount of Boswellic acids than any other Frankincense variety. Frankincense Dalzielii like other Frankincense varieties has many benefits for the skin and is wonderful for other systems. Frankicense Dalzielii grounding, comforting and can help to calm.
